The annual Christmas toy drive organized by Representative Friess is underway, inviting community members to contribute new, unwrapped toys. These donations can be dropped off at Rep. Friess’ Red Bud District office, located at 143 South Main Street in Red Bud. For inquiries, individuals are encouraged to call 618-282-7284.
The Women's Leadership Initiative will handle the wrapping of the toys before they are distributed. The collected toys will benefit various organizations within the district, including Toys for Tots in Chester, the House of Neighborly Service in Waterloo, Deb Opel in Red Bud, and the Christmas Pop-Up Shop at the Sparta Community Center.
This initiative aims to bring joy to children in need during the holiday season and relies on community support to make a difference.
