State Representative David Friess' Christmas Toy Drive is actively ongoing and will continue until December 18. The drive, aimed at bringing joy to children in need, relies on the community's generosity.
"You can create Christmas magic in the life of a child in need this Christmas season!" said Rep. Friess. "Every child deserves to have a magical day on Christmas, and together, we can make that happen in our communities here in District 115. Even a seemingly small toy donation can bring such joy to a child's Christmas. Thank you for your support."
Donations of new, unwrapped toys are being accepted at Rep. Friess' Red Bud District office, located at 143 South Main Street in Red Bud. For inquiries, individuals are encouraged to call 618-282-7284.
The Women's Leadership Initiative led by Rep. Friess will handle the wrapping of the toys before they are distributed to local organizations such as Toys for Tots in Chester, the House of Neighborly Service in Waterloo, Deb Opel in Red Bud, and the Christmas Pop-Up Shop at the Sparta Community Center.
Rep. Friess emphasizes his commitment to supporting the people of District 115 through initiatives like this toy drive.
