City of Red Bud Cultural Committee met Jan. 20.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Committee Members Present: Curt Guebert, Mike Rheinecker, Jeremy DeMond Committee Members Absent: Ben Schwartzkopf, Kyle Donjon

Council Members Present: Bill Hanebutt, Rodney Nevois

Council Members Absent: Alan Piel

Others Present: Mayor Susan Harbaugh, City Attorney Rick Cooper, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Admin./City Engineer Jeff Mueller, Police Chief John Brittingham, Admin. Officer Jill Landgraf, City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Mayor Harbaugh called the meeting to order at 6:17 P.M.

New Business

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting December 16, 2024

Recommendation made by Committee Member Guebert, seconded by Committee Member Rheinecker, to approve the minutes from the December 16, 2024, meeting. Carried

II. Approval for Randolph County Marine Corps League to Collect at the Four-Way Stop on Saturday, November 1, 2025, for Toys for Tots

Recommendation made by Committee Member Rheinecker, seconded by Committee Member Guebert, to approve the request from the Randolph County Marine Corps League to Collect at the four-way stop on Saturday, November 1, 2025, 8AM-Noon for Toys for Tots. Carried

III. Approval for Chamber of Commerce to Allow Vendors at the Chocolate Walk on February 8, 2025, from 10 AM-4 PM

Recommendation made by Committee Member Rheinecker, seconded by Committee Member Guebert, to approve allowing vendors at the Chocolate Walk on February 8, 2025, from 8AM-4PM. Carried

IV. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

None
