City of Red Bud Cultural Committee met May 19.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Committee Members Present: Bryce Parsons, Jeremy DeMond, Curt Guebert,

Patrick Mueller

Committee Members Absent: Kyle Donjon

Council Members Present: Bill Hanebutt, Rodney Nevois, Alan Piel

Council Members Absent: None

Others Present: Mayor Susan Harbaugh, City Attorney Rebecca Cooper, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Admin./City Engineer Jeff Mueller, Police Chief John Brittingham, Administrative Officer Jill Landgraf, City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Chairman Parsons called the meeting to order at 6:12 P.M.

New Business

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – Meeting April 21, 2025 Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Parsons, seconded by Committee Member DeMond, to approve the minutes from the April 21, 2025, meeting. Carried

II. Request from Randolph County Humane Society to Collect at the Four Way Stop - October 17, 2025, 2PM-6PM & October 18, 2025, 8AM-12PM Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Parsons, seconded by Committee Member Guebert, to approve the request from Randolph County Humane Society to collect at the four-way stop on October 17, 2025, from 2PM – 6PM and October 18, 2025, from 8AM - 12PM. Carried

III. Red, White and Blue in the Loo Sponsorship

No action

IV. Global Aerospace Summit Sponsorship

Jill Landgraf would be able to design an ad which would highlight the availability of building lots in the new RBBP. There are two passes included with the ad. Landgraf would like to attend the summit and will find someone else to use the other ticket.

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Parsons, seconded by Committee Member Mueller, to approve advertising at the $300 Sponsorship Level for the Global Aerospace Summit to promote the RBBP and economic development. Carried

V. Approval of Muskets Athletic Club to Reserve Lincoln Park Basketball Courts & Pickleball Court Nets Removed for Youth 3v3 Tournament – June 28, 2025

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman Parsons, seconded by Committee Member Mueller, to approve the request from the Musket Athletic Club to reserve the Lincoln Park basketball courts and remove the pickleball net, on June 28, 2025, for a 3v3 basketball tournament. Carried

VI. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City

None
