City of Columbia Police Pension Board met July 8.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

1. CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL

2. PUBLIC COMMENTS

3. MINUTES - Reading and approval of the minutes for the April 8, 2025 board meeting.

4. CORRESPONDENCE

5. BILLS

6. TREASURER’S REPORT - Emily Voellinger / INVESTMENT REPORT

A) Verify cash balances in local checking account to pay beneficiaries and bills.

B) IPOPIF update of investment portfolio

C) Review and update contact information, eCFM form, Authorized Agents form, and Account Representative form to be sent to IPOPIF, if necessary.

7. OLD BUSINESS

A) Confirm filing of Statement of Economic Interest with County Clerk by all board members. (Due May 1, 2025)

B) Discuss status of Joseph Edwards QILDRO and QILDRO Calculation Order.

C) Discuss status of May 6, 2024 and June 4, 2024 correspondence from IRS. Discuss receipt of any final notice from IRS.

D) Confirm reappointment of Mike Kossina as appointed board member.

8. NEW BUSINESS

A) Discuss status of Annual Statement, Interrogatories and Audit to be filed with the Illinois Department of Insurance no later than October 30, 2025. Filing must also include copies of Collective Bargaining Agreement, minutes from all meetings, training certificates for all trustees and other required documents.

B) Election and Reorganization of Board/election of officers:

i. President; ii. Vice President; iii. Secretary; iv. Asst. Secretary; v. FOIA / OMA Officer(s)

C) Discuss trustee training opportunities for 2025
