City of Waterloo Finance Committee met Sept. 2.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Attendance: Chairman Joel Vogt

Committee Members: Matt Buettner, Jim Trantham, Tina Charron, and Kyle Buettner.

Attendees: Mayor Stan Darter, Gary Most, Jordon Riley, J.R. Landeck, Nathan Krebel, Sarah Craig, and Tammy Kujawa.

Meeting called to order at 6:45 p.m. by Alderman Joel Vogt, Chairman.

Agenda Item 1: Petitions by Citizens on Non-Agenda Items: None

Agenda Item 2: Dispatching Contract.

Mayor Stan Darter stated the original contract was negotiated six-years ago with an update three-years ago. The city has grown and our volume has increased to 50% of the calls received. He believes the increase in cost is fair. Aldermen Kyle Buettner and Jim Trantham agreed.

A motion was made by Alderman Jim Trantham and seconded by Alderman Matt Buettner to approve the new Dispatching Contract for presentation at City Council. Motion passed unanimously.

Agenda Item 3: Comments. None.

The motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Alderman Matt Buettner and seconded by Alderman Tina Charron.

Motion passed by a unanimous voice vote.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:48 PM.
