Illinois State Representative David Friess has launched a Diaper Drive to support families in need during the holiday season. The drive runs from November 1 through December 15, 2025, and aims to collect hygiene essentials for local families.
According to Friess, "This is a great opportunity for our community to come together and help parents focus a little more on the holiday spirit!"
Items being collected include diapers (disposable or cloth, new condition), wipes, diaper cream, baby soap or body wash, formula, pacifiers, thermometers, round-tipped nail scissors, crib sheets, and menstrual supplies. Donations can be dropped off at Friess's office located at 143 South Main St., Red Bud, IL 62278. For further information about the drive, individuals are encouraged to call 618-282-7284.
Friess was elected as a Republican representative to the Illinois State House in 2023 for the state's 115th House District. He succeeded Nathan Reitz in this role.
