Carbondale Police Pension Board discusses lack of affidavit responses at recent meeting

Carbondalepolicepatch

The Carbondale, Illinois Police Pension Board of Trustees discussed a lack of responses to a final affidavit during a recent meeting.

During the meeting it was noted that there were 12 retired individuals that had not responded to the final affidavit that was mailed with the most recent payroll. The deadline for response was set for Dec. 31, 2015.

The board discussed the possibility of halting payments for the January payroll until a response was received from outstanding individuals. The board decided to make that decision at the next meeting because it would occur before the payroll would be sent out and all members of the board would be present.

The treasurer’s report was also approved at the meeting. The meeting minutes from the previous meeting were not available so their review and approval was postponed until the next meeting.
