Chester home prices fall in November 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2018 in Chester fell by $12,500 while total sales remained unchanged with six homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2018, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $61,500 - a 16.9% decrease over the $74,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Chester in November 2017, as well.

The median sales tax in Chester for 2018 was $1,256. In 2017, the median sales tax was $1,241. This marks an increase of 1.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2%.
