City of Red Bud Personnel Committee met June 20.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Committee Members Present: Jeremy DeMond, Alan Piel, Kyle Donjon, Curt Guebert, Mike Rheinecker

Committee Members Absent:

Council Members Present: Ben Schwartzkopf, Bill Hanebutt

Council Members Absent: Rodney Nevois

Others Present: Acting Mayor Susan Harbaugh, City Attorney Paul Ray, City Superintendent Josh Eckart, Code Administrator Jeff Mueller, City Clerk Joanne Cowell

Others Absent: Police Chief John Brittingham, Admin. Assist. Pam Poetker

Committee Chairman DeMond called the meeting to order at 6:07 P.M.

Old Business

I. Wage Study Proposal 

Committee Chairman DeMond said that the sample wage study which had been sent out by email, would be very useful. After discussion, concerns about confidentiality, how the study would be applied and when; the wage study proposal was tabled until the next committee meeting, allowing for more time to review.

New Business

I. Approval of Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes – May 16, 2022 

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman DeMond, seconded by Committee Member Guebert, to approve the minutes from the May 16, 2022, meeting. Carried 

II. IML Conference September 15-17, 2022 

Recommendation made by Committee Chairman DeMond, seconded by Committee Member Donjon, to approve sending any council member and department head, wishing to attend, to the IML conference in Chicago on September 15-17, 2022, at the city’s expense. Carried 

III. Public Comments/Anything for the Good of the City 

None

Meeting was adjourned at 6:14 P.M.
