Sparta Community Hospital has announced that it will conduct scheduled maintenance on its phone system in the early morning hours of Wednesday, October 15. The maintenance is set to take place from 1:00 to 3:00 a.m., during which time the hospital's entire phone system will be unavailable.

During the outage, those needing assistance are advised to use a temporary contact number: 618-317-7603. In case of emergencies, callers should dial 911. The hospital noted that all services will remain open as usual throughout the maintenance period.

"We appreciate your patience as we complete this upgrade," the hospital stated.
