Pinckneyville Community Hospital has announced that it will now offer podiatry services at its Specialty Clinic, beginning in November. Dr. Dan Brown from Southern Illinois Podiatry will start seeing patients at the hospital.

Podiatry covers the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of conditions related to the foot, ankle, and leg structures. Common issues addressed by podiatrists include heel pain, bunions, ingrown toenails, diabetic foot care, sports injuries, arthritis-related problems, and circulation issues.

“Foot health plays a vital role in maintaining mobility and overall wellness,” said Randall Dauby, Chief Executive Officer. “We’re excited to welcome Dr. Brown and provide this much-needed specialty care for our patients.”

Dr. Brown has over 27 years of experience in podiatric medicine and surgery. He offers both conservative treatments and advanced procedures aimed at reducing pain, restoring function, and improving quality of life for his patients.

Southern Illinois Podiatry is recognized for its use of advanced medical technology combined with personalized care. The practice specializes in diabetic foot management, wound care, surgical correction of deformities, and sports-related injuries for patients across Southern Illinois.

With the addition of podiatry services at Pinckneyville Community Hospital’s Specialty Clinic, local residents will have greater access to specialized foot and ankle care without needing to travel far.

Appointments with Dr. Brown are available starting in November. For more information or to schedule an appointment, individuals can call 618-988-6034. Dr. Dan Brown is a non-employed contracted provider at Pinckneyville Community Hospital; as such, patients may receive a separate bill for his services.
