Pinckneyville Community Hospital has announced that Quincy Medical Group will become its new radiology provider starting in October 2025. The hospital says the partnership aims to improve patient care and make billing for radiology services more straightforward.
With this change, all billing for radiology procedures will now be handled directly by Pinckneyville Community Hospital. Previously, patients would receive separate bills from both the hospital and the radiology group. Under the new system, patients will get a single bill, which the hospital believes will simplify the process.
“We are always looking for ways to make the healthcare experience easier and more patient-friendly,” said Randall Dauby, CEO of Pinckneyville Community Hospital. “Partnering with Quincy Medical Group not only allows us to continue offering high-quality radiology services close to home, but also simplifies the financial side of care for our patients.”
Quincy Medical Group provides a range of diagnostic imaging services including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammography. Their team consists of board-certified radiologists who work as independent contractors for Pinckneyville Community Hospital and are not employed by it.
The hospital states that this partnership supports its ongoing efforts to deliver quality healthcare while making services more convenient for patients.
